DPI offer a very unique Archive Writing Service, through our Partner in the UK.
Archive writing is the Long-Term Preservation Solution for Digital Files.
The process..
- Material is scanned at DPI Scanning Bureau
- Digital Images are transferred to Partner Bureau in UK
- Images written to Microfilm ANSI approved film, boxed and named
- Return original material, with digital image copy on disc and microfilm boxed reels
The archive write service takes your digital images and write them onto 35mm microfilm – an analogue storage format with a Life Expectancy (LE) rating or 500 years, with the ability to be scanned straight back into a digital platform as and when needed.
