Book Bind, Print and Frame Service:
Since our start up in 2006, DPI has had several Customers that require additional services after scanning.
Book Binding and Print Service
DPI have occasionally been requested to reproduce a bound volume book. We work very closely with our Book Binding Partner to review the original volumes and ensure that we can reproduce a copy to similar standards and with similar materials.
The Process
- Review the book with the Book Binder
- We may require to dismantle the old book for scanning
- DPI will scan all pages and format the pages for printing
- DPI or Book Binder will print to high quality paper, to identical size with good margins
- Book Binder will bind book, add covers, add book title lettering
Our BookBinder is Albert Browne, based in Cork City. Browne Bookbinders have been in business for over forty years. Albert is a Master Craftsman, located in a purpose built premises, with all the old and new book binding equipped and book binding stock.

Frame Services
DPI have occasionally been requested to reproduce framed art works. We work very closely with our Framing Partner to review the original artwork and ensure that we can reproduce a copy to similar standards and with similar materials.
The Process
- Review the original artwork with the Framer, staring with photo proofs.
- DPI will scan all the artwork- normally in frame. If removal from frame is required, we would seek the permission of the Client before we commence.
- DPI or Framer will print the art piece to high quality paper, to identical size with good margins
- Framer will frame printed art piece
Our Framer is Art and Frame, based on the Model Farm Road in Cork. Art and Frame has been in business for nearly twenty years. Don is a Master Craftsman, located in a purpose-built premises, with all the old and new framing equipped and frame stock.
DPI have completed several projects with Don over the years, including a large body of work for Teagasc.
